SITOL DECK CAULKING S

Sitol® Deck Caulking S is a high-quality silicone sealant, fast-curing with neutral cross-linking, specifically designed for caulking classic teak decks and suitable for sealing joints between synthetic teak and deck surfaces. It cures through reaction with moisture, forming a permanently elastic mass that absorbs the natural expansion of teak planks. It provides constant elasticity from -50 °C to +150 °C and outstanding resistance against UV radiation, ageing, chemicals, and saltwater, without shrinking or crumbling. Free from solvents and isocyanates, it requires no special training under Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 and ensures strong adhesion to both smooth and porous substrates, provided they are clean, dry, and compact. For new seams, the use of Sitol® Primer Deck Caulking is recommended. It complies with European CE marking requirements for pedestrian walkway sealants (EN 15651-4: PW EXT-INT 20 HM), ensuring safety, durability, and top performance under demanding marine conditions.
