A four-transducer ultrasonic antifouling system designed to protect the hull and underwater components of vessels up to 50 ft (15 m). Operating continuously without chemicals or hull penetrations, it helps prevent marine growth, reduces maintenance requirements and improves overall vessel efficiency.
The BPS-4 12V is an ultrasonic antifouling system equipped with four high-performance transducers that generate multi-frequency ultrasonic waves throughout the hull, preventing marine organisms from attaching to submerged surfaces before fouling can develop. Designed for vessels up to 50 ft (15 m), it operates on 12 V DC and features low power consumption (approximately 1 A total, or 0.25 A per transducer), making it suitable for continuous operation without significantly affecting the onboard battery capacity. The transducers are bonded directly to the inside of the hull using epoxy resin, allowing installation without hull penetrations or haul-out. By keeping the hull, rudders, sterndrives, stabilizers and other underwater components cleaner for longer, the system reduces drag, lowers fuel consumption, extends the service life of antifouling coatings and minimizes underwater cleaning and maintenance, providing an environmentally friendly, biocide-free solution for both recreational and commercial vessels.
