ULTRASONIC ANTIFOULING SYSTEM

A two-transducer ultrasonic antifouling system designed to protect the hull and underwater components of vessels up to 30 ft (9 m). Operating continuously without chemicals or hull penetrations, it helps prevent marine growth while reducing maintenance costs and improving vessel performance.
The BPS-2 12V is an ultrasonic antifouling system equipped with two high-performance transducers that generate multi-frequency ultrasonic waves throughout the hull. These ultrasonic vibrations help prevent the attachment of marine organisms before they can establish themselves, keeping the hull, rudders, sterndrives, trim tabs and other submerged components cleaner for longer. Designed for vessels up to 30 ft (9 m), the system operates on 12 V DC and features very low power consumption (approximately 0.5 A total, or 0.25 A per transducer), making it ideal for continuous operation without significantly affecting the onboard battery capacity. Installation is carried out entirely from inside the vessel by bonding the transducers directly to the hull with epoxy resin, eliminating the need for hull penetrations or haul-out. By reducing marine fouling, the BPS-2 12V improves vessel efficiency, reduces drag and fuel consumption, extends the service life of antifouling coatings, and minimizes the need for underwater cleaning and maintenance. The system provides an environmentally friendly, chemical-free solution for hull protection, making it suitable for both recreational and professional vessels seeking lower operating costs and improved long-term performance.
