D-SHAPED SEAL
EPDM sponge-rubber D-shaped seal with 3M adhesive tape. Designed for sealing doors, sliding roofs, windows, hatches, etc., it prevents air leaks, dirt ingress, vibration, and noise. Recommended compression range is 25–40%.
It is equipped with 3M high-performance adhesive tape (“BT tape”), offering an airtight, mechanically robust bond and excellent temperature resistance (-20 °F to 158 °F / -29 °C to 70 °C). Designed for sealing applications in doors, trunks, hatches, electrical enclosures, coolers, and more, it prevents air and moisture ingress, dirt, vibration, and noise. Optimal performance is achieved with 25–40 % compression. The EPDM compound delivers outstanding resistance to ozone, water absorption, sunlight aging, and low temperatures, with good compression-set recovery. Recognized as a UL-compliant component.
