FS12 CONTROL AND MONITORING FOR AEROSOL SYSTEMS

The FS12 control unit is the ideal solution for vessels. It holds the IMO SOLAS Type Approval certificate and allows the integration of a detection line and external actuators. One sub-unit must be installed for each aerosol generator in the system. It features full supervision, siren and relay outputs, and can activate up to 50 aerosol generators. Dual 24V power supply ensures maximum reliability.
The FS12 control unit is designed to manage and supervise multiple aerosol generators installed on board ships as part of the fire extinguishing system. Its primary function is to activate the aerosol generators in the event of fire, ensuring a fast and effective response. As a secondary function, the unit continuously monitors the condition of the system itself (power supplies, cabling, and individual components), generating an alarm if any fault is detected. The FS12 also features dedicated inputs for detectors, allowing flexible integration with other fire detection devices. To increase reliability, it is equipped with dual power supply inputs, enabling it to withstand single-point power supply failures without losing functionality. In short, the FS12 offers centralized control, continuous supervision, and power redundancy, ensuring maximum reliability in marine fire protection systems.
