A relay combined with a voltage sensing circuit allows to combine batteries when a charge is being applied to a battery and the voltage rises over 13V, and to isolate when discharging and when starting engines. Temporary isolation of House loads from engine circuit during engine cranking protects sensitive electronics from sags and spikes. Integrated LEDs indicates ACR states.
